A few from the road.. Images of India

I have uploaded a very small selection of the pictures we have been taking (I think 15 or so). They are publically avaliable on the link below. They range from Branson and Brown in the riches corners of Delhi to the poorest Meo villagers in Mewat.

Captions to come in time but I doubt you'll need help distinguishing. Meanwhile I am hindered by power cuts, Indian "broadband" speeds and hindi keyboards!

Red Button Design meet Gordon Brown in Delhi

Just wanted to warn you all to keep your eyes peeled for information about the Prime Minister's visit to India today as we are participating in the same panel debate. Watch out for us on the news and in the national press!

If you do catch any stories relating to our attendance please let me know at amanda@thisisredbutton.co.uk as our ability to monitor the British press from Delhi is somewhat restricted.

Many thanks,
Amanda and James

Amanda on STV for Red Button. "What's your business idea?"

I've been up at STV today filming for a series of 60 second 'shorts' for Business Gateway entitled "What's Your Business Idea?"

This is a fun initiative aimed at inspiring young Scots into entrepreneurial endeavours. As I understand it the 60 second mini-programmes will air on STV throughout Feb so keep your eyes peeled for us and a number of other great Scottish start-ups on your screens next month.

Red Button Design represent British Enterprise in India

"I'd say it was hot and overcrowded... but that doesn't begin to describe it"

Nicky has been to India, infact he was there working while James and I were charming the Dragons, and I am after last-minute advice because in precisely 21 hours James and I are boarding a plane for Delhi where we are taking part in an Entrepreneurs Summit as part of an extremely high profile delegation representing British Business and Enterprise.*

"Oh, and take immodium because you'll be ill for the first two weeks"

"But Nicky, we're only going for a fortnight"

He just grins.

*we'll be blogging all the way, so watch this space or even better subscribe to this blog with the link at the very bottom of this page so you don't miss a thing.
